Hello,
My wife and i are interested in joining the SCA. We live in Rochester and basically have no idea how to go about it. Melissa is interested in the craft side of things, she would like to get into cooking and sowing. I enjoy brewing and would love to get into the combat as well. When i was younger i had some friends who were in the SCA but i moved away and did not get a chance to pursue it. I had been learning to fight with a glaive. Any help that could be offered to point us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. |

Did you get all of your questions answered? Have you had the opportunity to meet anyone or attend any of the gatherings? While I have not been especially active in Stonemarche, I have been a member of the SCA for 27 years now. If I can help in any way, please let me know.
Best Wishes,

We also have Deerfield Craftnite where you can work on armor, work on projects or just chat with some of the local folks who attend. Directions can be found:
